Superior Co-Op HVAC is Hiring: Comfort Advisors (Salespeople)

Are you a dynamic and motivated salesperson looking for an exciting career in HVAC sales? Superior Co-Op HVAC is seeking to add two Comfort Advisors to our team. This position is based in Cambridge, NY, and serves customers across the Capital Region and surrounding areas. Our hiring process is thorough but moves quickly for the right candidate.


About You

You are an experienced salesperson with a proven ability to work from a central office and travel to meet customers and prospects. You excel at prospecting through phone calls, in-person visits, and attending trade events. While knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred, it’s not required if you have a track record of success in complex sales, the ability to learn quickly, and can retain industry-specific knowledge.

You’re confident selling solutions that range from $2,500 to $20,000 or more. You’re well-spoken, command attention, and bring a high level of energy to every interaction. You see your sales territory as your own business, and you thrive on tracking your performance metrics to continuously improve. While you already operate at a high level, you embrace training and coaching as opportunities for growth.

You have a verifiable history of earning over $90,000 annually and the drive to surpass $120,000 or more in the first year. Top performers in the HVAC industry regularly exceed $200,000 annually, thanks to a combination of strong leads, premium equipment, and an excellent reputation.


Job Description

As a Comfort Advisor at Superior Co-Op HVAC, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Keeping appointments with scheduled customers.
  • Performing comprehensive in-home assessments to determine customer needs.
  • Presenting proposals and solutions at the customer’s home in person.
  • Offering financing options on all proposals.
  • Generating referrals and following up with prospects.
  • Participating in weekly sales meetings and ongoing training.
  • Continuously improving your communication skills to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new sales for Superior Co-Op HVAC.
  • Start the sales process in the office and travel to customers’ homes to complete presentations.
  • Provide tailored solutions based on individual customer needs.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-first approach at all times.
  • Follow company procedures to generate and track referrals.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented sales environment.

Requirements

  • No criminal convictions; must pass a background check.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid NY Driver’s License with a clean record.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Willingness to learn about indoor air quality and HVAC solutions.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • A working cell phone with internet access.
